Choosing Your ISR Password

Everyone starts with the same default password: asdf&*123.
Obviously, we can't let you onto the MSI site with that - then anyone could get in!

So, you need to pick your own password.
You only need to do this ONCE.
Don't forget your password. Choose one you won't forget or save it somewhere.

Go to ISR's Junos Pulse Secure Access Service by clicking on the yellow button.
Here is the URL in case you want to open it in a new window (ight-clicking won't work here).
     https://sslvpn.ece.umd.edu/isr

Sign on with your ISR username (which you got from E. Smela or M. Heil) and the temporary password asdf&*123. --> You will then be asked to choose a new password

The requirements for the new password are:
  - at least 8 characters long,
  - contains at least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter
  - contains at least one number or symbol, and
  - does not contain your username or parts of your full name.
(I know, it's a pain.)

When you've set your password, do one of the following. (All three take you to the same place.)
     (1) Click "Microsystems" on the ISR VPN (Junos) site.
     (2) Go to this url: http://microsys-sp.isr.umd.edu.
     (3) Push the button below.

Log in.  (Set a bookmark to this page.)
Use the site.

If you have trouble, follow the directions here.
